My name is Benjamin Garcia Navarro, and I am 48 years old. I have been involved in the corporate world for over 27 years, and have worked in the financial industry for going on 19 years. I was contacted by an old associate of mine in September of 2004 while working for a Fortune 1000 company in the Philippines. From this short phone call I was on a flight to Mexico in order to meet with the rest of the board, and KA HOLDINGS, the parent of KaOnline was born
what’s your position in the program?
I am the Managing Director of KA ONLINE INC. As far as daily operations of KaOnline my normal duties include supervision of our G.O. Fund management teams, our “We Care” Investor Support System, and the basic integrity of our web site. However, until our call center is 100% functional my role is much larger, basically I am “it” right now. I didn’t see a reason to being to pay our online support staff if at this point their actual workload would be very minimal. In the next coming weeks my overall role will diminish slightly, though I will still be the boss.
How many people are involved in running the program and what are their names?
As I mentioned above, as of right now I am basically a one man show, however come June 15th my now Executive Assistant, Sylvia, will move into a more encompassing position of Call Center Manager. She will be taking calls and monitoring the online chat interface during normal business hours. One of our directors will also be a full time employee of the Call Center. Kevin will handle 90% of the chat workload both during and after normal business hours. As needed the number of both in-house employees and outside employees will grow to around 10 to 15. The need is simply not there right now.
KaOnline also employs a permanent account, Miss Rebecca Manzanilla, and a corporate lawyer, Mr. Luis Hernandez.
Could you tell us a little bit about your staff and their background?
Personally I have been involved in the corporate world for over 27 years, and have worked in the financial industry for going on 19 years. I was contacted by an old associate of mine in September of 2004 while working for a Fortune 1000 company in the Philippines. I was introduced to the online High Yield Industry by my nephew in early 2002. I invested some money in a web site called Truth in Gold, and well let’s say I barely made it out with my shirt. I never expected to return to this “industry”, as it doesn’t take long to see it for what it is, however when I was contacted regarding a lead role in KaOnline I quickly changed my mind. Our goal is to change this industry, and to take it back from the fly by night scams that so many people have been victimized by.
PROGRAM INFO
When did the program launch, and were you available offline in the past?
The KaOnline web site’s official public launch was on May 1st, 2006. Previous to this we were in the development and beta testing phase for close to 9 months. Prior to the now board of directors contacting me, the G.O. Fund portfolio, however nameless and not yet complete, had been made available to friends and family of the directors.
Why did you decide to open Online Investment Program?
The decision was not mine; however I can tell you why I decided to be a part of it. As I stated above I had previously been taken by this industry some years ago. I saw potential here, but at the time I was not in the position to do anything about it. After being introduced to KaOnline and reading through the original business model and Fund analysis’ I was very interested. I did a decent amount of research on my own prior t accepting the offer, I talked with some of the Fund Management Team members, a few of the business contacts associated with the now entitled RD Fund, and went through over 18 months of self audits done by the directors. After my experience with HYIP’s I began to follow a new credo; Never plunge into anything until you personally satisfied with it’s stability and worthiness. KaOnline passed the test.
What do you think sets your program apart from all the other "opportunities" out there?
From my point of view, being an investor myself, I would say that there are several factors that make KaOnline appealing, such as; our customer service. We make sure that all inquires are answered within 8 hours. Our user friendly web site. Our web site was beta tested by over 100 individuals from various backgrounds, and 98% of then agreed that it was very easy to navigate and informative. Our portfolio of G.O. Funds. We offer a wide range of investment options that appeal to even the most seasoned online investor. Our accounting. All withdrawals are paid promptly and our system is almost cheat proof, giving our clients a sense of security. Our secure web site. We offer PIN based account access, Turing numbers, and Prolexic DDoS protection. All this is done in order to make sure KaOnline is secure.
Why do you feel the need to have a referral incentive program (If You Offer One)?
It all has to do with a targeted and best value marketing campaign. Being an unlicensed money management company, the avenues we have to promote and advertise our company are limited, and most of the times are over priced considering the audience they target. Our referral incentive program in no way hinders our ability to maintain our profit margin, and it allows us to keep our overall expenses to a minimum. It is a win win situation for both KaOnline and its clients.
How do you generate the returns for your investors?
Currently the KaOnline Portfolio consists of five (5) active G.O. Funds;
Re-Development Fund
All Arbitrage Fund
Mexican Mercado de Bolsas Fund
Currency Pairs Weekly Fund
Inter-Diversification Feeder Fund
Each G.O. Fund has its own set terms, including individual term lengths, risk to return ratios, minimum deposits, etc. Detailed information along with a small "Mini Prospectus" on each Fund can be found inside one's KaOnline Account under the G.O. Funds Transfer link. Although each G.O. Fund invests in a different industry, there objectives remain the same, as do their overall diversification architecture.
Outlined main investment industry - 65%
As described in each G.O. Funds mini prospectus.
Cash or equivalent - 9%
Held in one of a handful of KaOnline controlled Class A bank accounts.
Medium term notes - 10%
Basic medium term paper trading, p-notes, bonds, etc.
Short term notes - 5%
Basic short term paper trading, p-notes, bonds, stocks, etc.
CD or equivalent - 2%
Private and publicly held certificates of deposit or equivalent interest bearing fixed term notes in both banking institutions and with private fund managers.
Inter-fund diversification - 9%
Diversification into other privately offered G.0. Funds.
All privately offered G.O. Funds on this web site have passed through a rigorous 12 point evaluation before being made available to you, our client, to ensure that the fund is both structured to maintain it’s viability based on past market fluctuations, and that our diversification architecture is applicable, and allows the fund to grow at it’s maximum potential.
Do you trade yourself or do you employ traders?
The G.O. Funds which do trade on world markets, whether we are talking about stocks, currencies, commodities, or bonds, are managed by third party fund management teams. These teams are independent contractors, meaning that KaOnline does compensate them; however they are not considered employees. This is done for both legal and financial reasons. KaOnline holds a reserve, and makes it mandatory that the management team also holds a reserve with the company, from their own capital, to protect our client’s money.
What type of experience do you and or your traders have?
From our 12 point G.O. Fund evaluation list;
2. The fund has a minimum of 2 managers with a minimum of 3 years experience in the associated industry in which the fund operates and a minimum of 5 years experience in general finance.
Can you show any proof of real work to public (Forex Statements, Trading Records)?
Do to very strict non-disclosure agreements we have in place with both our Fund Management Teams and several of the companies we deal with, contracts and the like are not able to be made public. Over the next 2 weeks we will be handing over copies of some of these contracts to various due diligence organizations. Due to the NDA’s as mentioned above, we will require the DD Organization to sign an NDA with KaOnline directly, and any sensitive information that by contract we can’t release will be blacked out from the documents.
If you're involved in several business/financial activities, how is your portfolio structured?
This question has already been addressed above.
Do you piggyback off of other online programs?
Short answer, no.
PAYMENTS AND PAYMENT HISTORY
What steps have been taken to secure members funds?
I touched on this briefly above. We are very serious when it comes to the way we manage the capital that is invested with us. Firstly our portfolio of Funds, along with all persons involved in managing those funds, must pass our 12 point evaluation as posted on the “What We Do?” page of our main web site. Secondly, both KaOnline and it’s fund management teams are required to hold cash reserves in the event of losses or any other unseen happening. KaOnline clears out it’s e-currency accounts twice a week and allows access to only one individual via one static IP address. Our corporate bank accounts are monitored daily, and just like our e-currency accounts only one person has access to the funds; however this person cannot change passwords, so even he cannot move money without the consent of another person. All our account passwords are changed on a 12 hour basis. As I said, we have many measures in place to ensure that monies invested with KaOnline are kept safe and invested as promised.
Have you ever had late payments?
No.
What do you think is going to preserve the longevity of your program?
Aside from those reasons already mentioned, we are a business, a business that can only succeed if our clients make money and continue to support us. In order for this to happen we need to maintain our goals and look toward the future. Any investment carries risk, and losses can occur, but losses will not close us down, they will push us harder to recoup what we have lost.
Have you established a reserve fund?
Yes as explained above.
Do you allow members to invest as many times as you want in a day?
Yes, investors are free to invest as they please, we don’t tell our clients how to invest their own money.
How many active member/investors do you have?
Currently we have 271 active investors.
FUTURE PLANNING
Are you planning to close your program for new investors at any time?
At the present time this is not something that we plan on doing.
What are your plans for the future? How long will you stay online with current "Normal" plan?
Again, this was touched upon above. Our business model has been tweaked and tested, and it can sustain normal operation for an unseen amount of time. We, the board at KaOnline, are very flexible, and if something didn’t work it would be fixed.
Can members cancel their investment and get their principle back and do you have any administrative fees to do this?
All investments into our G.O. Funds portfolio fall under the terms of said individual funds. Once funds are committed to an investment, they are invested, period. We are all adults here, and as adults we need to stick to the rules.
INCORPORATION
Is your company registered and incorporated? If so Where?
Yes, KA ONLINE INC. is a registered corporation. It was registered on December 20th, 2005 in St.Kitts / Nevis under registration number 004312.
Note that KA ONLINE INC., is not registered with the SEC or any like financial organization, and is not a licensed fund management company. We are not in the business of lying or trying to deceive our clients.
If you are registered or incorporated, Are your incorporation documents Available?
Of coarse they are, our certificate of incorporation can be viewed here; https://www.kaonline.biz/KAONLINECERT.pdf
Do you have a Physical Office and is it available for a site visit?
The details on our contact us page are real. At this time our call center is not yet 100% functional, which means that all calls are being sent to a voicemail box. We anticipate the call center being finished on or before June 15th. At that time calls received during normal business hours (as posted on the web site) will be answered by one of our staff, and I myself will be available as well when I am visiting the call center.
KaOnline is a cyber business, we do not have an actual office. This isn’t to say that we don’t have “offices”, however being that I myself am constantly traveling, and as are the other directors, we do not have a central office. The call center will be stationary, but it to is not classified as an office; it is what it is, a call center.
Coming in the next few months KaOnline will be putting a program into place where we will actually fly to and visit our clients at our expense. This will launch in conjunction with our “Fly FREE with KaOnline” promotion. Restrictions will apply.
Do you use free or paid web hosting?
Paid hosting paid in advance for 12 months.
WEBSITE AND SUPPORT
What support options do you offer to your members?
S.I.M. System (Secure Internal Messaging System) - Available Inside one's KaOnline Account
LIVE Chat - Available Inside one's KaOnline Account
Email - For non account holders, and access issues
Toll free (From the USA) Phone Support - This will be implemented on June 15th, until then phone calls are screened and only returned on an appointment type basis.
What protection against DDoS attacks do you have?
We use the Prolexic Clean Pipe Technology to ward off DDoS attacks. This service is costly but one of the best in the world. E-gold is among its long list of satisfied customers.
Do you have an emergency web site should you server crash? i.e. A redirect or duplicate web site with all of the information as the main web site contains?
We have our site mirrored on 2 separate servers and our database is copied every 12 hours to ensure that if the site does crash all client’s data will be secure and the site will not be affected.
Do you update your memberbase as to what is going on with your program regularly?
We do send out periodic newsletters when they are needed. We DO NOT send out newsletters for every small “milestone” we pass at an attempt to give the impression that we are working feverishly behind the scenes.
News is also posted both publicly and insides one’s KaOnline Account as need be.
We also try and update the various HYI forums when possible.
Will you have a public forum that non members can visit and see what is going on?
Currently no, however one is in the works and should be available within 10 days.
